Bottle Opener Knuckle Duster (Brass Knuckles)

Hand Made Full Size Bottle Opener knuckle Duster - A standard size four Finger knuckle duster / brass knuckles, made to be used just like a standard set of knuckle dusters but also features a bottle opener for those times down the bar or pub!
This version is smaller than the old "Bar Room Brawler" that is featured on the blog too and as you can see in the picture fits an medium size hand / fingers .


The size is suited to average medium hands/fingers as mentioned, and would fit a smaller sized hand too, however would probably be a little tight for larger fingers.
Features oval style finger holes, curved palm rest, and a curved non sharp striking surface plus a bottle opener!

Weight is low due the size and it being Aluminium.

Features the makers marks - WC 16

Overall a great little bottle opener knuckle duster, great to carry and conceal,and makes a great talking point especially down the pub, plus has dual uses seeing as it has the bottle opener.
These are also great self defense weapons if legal.

Dimensions - 113mm wide, 70mm high, 8mm thick, Finger holes are 30mm high and 25mm wide approx.

WeaponCollector's Tactical Meat Cleaver -  A modern Tactical Meat cleaver style knife for fighting, features a saw back, jimping, and file work, finger grooves and various lanyard holes and a hanging hook like the old traditional cleavers a butcher would have had.
These types of knife are usually for cutting large thick pieces of meat and therefore should lends its self well to fighting, possible taking off limbs with a single swipe if sharp enough.

The blade is mild steel, and was part of an old T section beam, although not hardened it could be at any time by removing the handles, the handles are made from plywood and are painted black, with brass bolts, the back of the handle features some file work that resembles fire, or a thorn vine.

Weight is very heavy due to the size of the blade and thickness, although heavy and slightly cumbersome the weight means that even a glancing blow would cause considerable damage.
Features no makers mark.
At this time there is no sheath, but I plan to get a nice tactical style scabbard with straps and various pouches.

A great collectors piece, not many people make "tactical" style cleavers like this, great for display and as a talking point, but could be used in a combat situation.

Dimensions - Blade 190mm long, Handle 115mm long, Blade thickness 10mm, Overall length 305mm approx.

Crossbow and Bow Collection (Homemade and bought)

WeaponCollector's Crossbow and Bow collection, some homemade and some bought from shops or online,
Bought crossbows are - Barnett Commando 2 compound crossbow 150lb draw weight, a Trident 80lb draw weight pistol crossbow, and a cheap no name brand 50lb draw weight pistol crossbow,
The bought bow is a 10lb draw weight Junior practice bow.
All other items were handmade and consist of a rifle crossbow with 100lb draw weight prod, a pistol crossbow with 50lb prod, a wrist crossbow with 50lb prod, and two hand made Bows, one a take down 35lb draw weight bow and a 45lb draw weight bow.

How to make a Lead Weighted Wood Truncheon, easy to make Trucheon, No need for a lathe or other complicated tools.

A truncheon or baton (also called a cosh, Paddy wacker, billystick, billy club, nightstick, sap, blackjack, stick) is essentially a stick of less than arm's length, usually made of wood, plastic, or metal, and carried by law-enforcement, corrections, security, and (less often) military personnel for less lethal self-defense, as well as control and to disperse combative and non-compliant subjects. A truncheon may be used to strike, jab, block, and aid in the application of armlocks. Truncheons are used to a lesser extent by non-officials because of their easy concealment, and are outlawed in many jurisdictions. They are also frequently used to rescue people who are trapped—for instance, in cars or buildings that are on fire, by smashing windows and doors.

HISTORY -
In the Victorian era, police in London carried truncheons about one foot long called bully clubs (from the word bully, a nickname for police officers). This impact weapon has developed into several varieties available today. The truncheon is a straitstick (see below) made from wood or a synthetic material, approximately 1.25 inches (32 mm) in diameter and 18 inches (460 mm)36 inches (910 mm) long, with a fluted handle to aid in gripping. Truncheons are often ornamented with their organizations' coats of arms. Longer truncheons are called "riot batons" because of their use in riot control.
Truncheons probably developed as a marriage between the club/mace and the staff of office/sceptre.
Straight batons of rubber have a softer impact. Some of the kinetic energy bends and compresses the rubber and bounces off when the object is struck. The Russian police standard-issue baton is rubber, except in places, such as Siberia, cold enough that the rubber can become brittle and break if struck.
A modern wooden baton.Until the mid 1990s, British police officers carried traditional wooden truncheons of a sort that had changed little from Victorian times. After the early 1990s, forces replaced truncheons with side-handle and collapsible batons for all but ceremonial duties.

Handmade Tanto Trench Knife

Tanto Trench Knife - Non Spike Tanto Trench Knife.
A one off new design that was Not really copied from any existing designs but thought up by myself.
I had always wanted a tanto trench knife so I designed this one, although now it is made there are things I do not like about it, I think spikes or triangular striking surfaces would have looked better, still many others may like it and that is why I am sharing this with you all.
The size for this one is medium to large hands, but would probably be too big for smalls hands due to the size finger holes.
Features oval finger holes and a flat palm rest, and standard rounded over striking surfaces. The sheath is leather and was made by myself, it has a belt loop, but no handle catch at this moment and also features a leg tie.
The blade is an old English Dunlop tyre lever, although not razor sharp it is still sharpened as much as i could do at the time and was shaped into a tanto style blade and would still be capable of stabbing and slashing, the handle is solid aluminium, and the blade is held within the handle in a groove and has been secured in place with two large screws.
Weight is average due to size and it being made of Aluminium.
Features no makers mark but was made by the person who makes most of my brass knuckles, the blade is imprinted with DUNLOP and MADE IN ENGLAND across the entire blade.
Overall an average trench knife in looks but is a one off in trench knife designs, not my favourite either, although still makes a good collectors piece, good for display and as a talking point.

Dimensions - 120mm wide (handle only), 80mm high (handle only), 18mm thick, Finger holes are 26mm wide and 32mm high.
Blade is 180mm - (7" inches)  Overall length is 305mm - (12" inches) Approx.
