One Finger Steel Push Dagger Knuckle Duster
One Finger Steel Push Dagger Knuckle Duster - A knuckle duster / push dagger / punch knife made from steel with paracord palm rest.
This is another design that is far as I know is a one off, or was at the time I got it.
The design is based on various types of push daggers and one finger knuckle dusters combined together to make this simple push dagger, made to be worn using the middle finger in the finger hole.
Push Daggers or Punch Daggers are made to be used is a punching motion to stab an attacker, many push daggers originated from WW1 and WW2
The size for this one is small to medium or even large hands, Features one oval finger hole and a curved palm rest.
The blade is double edged and "live", but not razor sharp.
The palm rest is made more comfortable by wrapping it with 550 paracord with just enough left over for a lanyard.
Weight is average due to size and it being made of steel
Features no makers mark but was made by the person who makes most of my other knuckle dusters.
This is a reasonably unique push dagger knuckle duster as far as I know, and would make a formidable self defense fighting weapon, also makes a great display piece and talking point.
Dimensions - 34mm wide, 100mm high, 5mm thick, Finger hole is 23mm wide and 30mm high.

Small One Finger Brass and Aluminium Knuckle Duster
Small One Finger Brass and Aluminium Knuckle Duster - A small one finger knuckle duster often referred to as a gri-gri style knuckle duster, made from brass with and aluminium grip on one side to add thickness, which also makes them more comfortable, between the two metals is a leather washer / insert.
The knuckle duster features a triangular style striking surface,
The size is suited to Medium hands/fingers, but will fit smaller hands.
Features one oval style finger hole but supports three fingers and a curved palm rest,
Weight is pretty heavy for its size due it being made of Brass and Aluminum,
The two metals are riveted together using large nails as rivets which are inserted into drill holes then hammered over to fill the rest of the hole..
Features no makers mark, but was made by the person who makes most of my other knuckle dusters.
Overall I would say this is a great little gri gri knuckle duster, although could be finished better.
These are also great concealable self defense weapons, due it its size it could be hidden in many places.
Dimensions - 48mm wide, 63mm high, 15mm thick, Finger hole is 22mm wide x 29mm high approx.

Cleaned up / Restored Gurkha Khukuri Knife
Cleaned up / Restored Gurkha Khukuri Knife - My cleaned up and renovated Kukri Knife, Originally the blade was rusty and chipped, sheath was damaged and so was the handle, I fixed all those parts and added a leather strap and O-ring lanyard hoop, the sheath was also re oiled to give it a much better look than it had before.
History : The Kukri is a curved Nepalese Knife, similar to the machete, used as both a tool and as a weapon. It is a traditional weapon for Nepalese people, and also a weapon of choice/side arm for all Nepalese including those serving in different armies around the world.
I bought mine from a friend about 6 years ago for about £5 ($3) it was dirty, damaged and not very nice, I took the knife, sanded off the rust from the blade, filled the holes in the handle with filler, re-coloured the handle and oiled and fixed the sheath adding a few extra parts (leather strap and lanyard hoop). overall its a much nicer knife than it was.
Features: Horn handle, brass pommel and fixtures, goat leather sheath, spring steel blade, two accessory knives (utility knife, and knife sharpening steel) and the flint and tinder pouch.
Dimensions : Blade - 330mm, Handle - 110mm, Overall length 440mm.

WeaponCollector's Tactical Meat Cleaver
Saw Back |
Jimping and Vine / Fire File Work |
Finger Grooved handle and Lanyard holes |
Traditional hanging hole |
WeaponCollector's Tactical Meat Cleaver - A modern Tactical Meat cleaver style knife for fighting, features a saw back, jimping, and file work, finger grooves and various lanyard holes and a hanging hook like the old traditional cleavers a butcher would have had.
These types of knife are usually for cutting large thick pieces of meat and therefore should lends its self well to fighting, possible taking off limbs with a single swipe if sharp enough.
The blade is mild steel, and was part of an old T section beam, although not hardened it could be at any time by removing the handles, the handles are made from plywood and are painted black, with brass bolts, the back of the handle features some file work that resembles fire, or a thorn vine.
Weight is very heavy due to the size of the blade and thickness, although heavy and slightly cumbersome the weight means that even a glancing blow would cause considerable damage.
Features no makers mark.
At this time there is no sheath, but I plan to get a nice tactical style scabbard with straps and various pouches.
A great collectors piece, not many people make "tactical" style cleavers like this, great for display and as a talking point, but could be used in a combat situation.
Dimensions - Blade 190mm long, Handle 115mm long, Blade thickness 10mm, Overall length 305mm approx.

Two Finger Balisong Brass Knuckles (Butterfly Knife Knuckle Duster)
Balisong / Balisong Duster / Knuckle Duster |
Features a "Skull Crusher" spike when closed |
Double Edged Dagger Blade |
Two Finger Balisong Brass Knuckles (Butterfly Knife knuckle duster) - My first ever Balisong Brass Knuckles, made to be held so that the middle and ring fingers are in the finger holes, and the two other fingers are supported by the outer grooves, opens like a traditional balisong, but due to the knuckle duster can't really be "flipped".
Made from Aluminium and Steel with various bolts, screws and washers.
The knuckle duster itself features no spikes instead has flat striking surfaces, but it does have a skull crusher spike when closed, and dagger blade when open, this would give the wielder several options for non-lethal, and potentially lethal combat.
The size is suited to Medium to large hands/fingers, and are not really suited to small or slim fingers.
Features Oval style finger holes and a curved palm rest,
Weight is pretty heavy due to the thickness and amount of material used.
Features No makers marks or date (as of making this entry, Makers mark may be added later)
Overall a great new piece for my collection, they are reasonably comfortable, but not as comfortable a some traditional designs, would be safe to use though, I hope to get a thinner, four finger version very soon, so look out for that in a future blog entry, certainly very cool and I am very happy to have this one as they are very rare and unusual.
Dimensions - 115mm wide overall, 72mm high, 8mm thick - Knuckle Duster only
Finger holes are 22mm wide and 30mm high approx.
Blade is 60mm long, 27mm wide, 5mm thick.
Overall thickness 32mm.
Overall length when open 152mm.
Please leave a comment below letting me know what you think! Thanks.
