I didnt have any metal grind blades and only other way i could to cut them was with a large pair of Tin Snips/shears which was surprisingly easy with the Saw Blade vertical in a Vice and peeled the the free side of the cut towards me while cutting upward from the bottom. So Thank you for your instructions very much apreciated :-) Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14469530897713072531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3507322908225572079.post-43178433434509262372015-01-05T01:45:05.737-08:002015-01-05T01:45:05.737-08:00I've used old two-man saw blades that have lyi...I've used old two-man saw blades that have lying out in the weather for over 20 years. They are pitted and don't clean up bright and shiny without sandblasting, but are still my favorite material for prods and homemade knives. No matter if you bend them almost double, they still straighten out. But they're a bitch to drill holes in!Texascomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09010930342036623294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3507322908225572079.post-64579054917669144332015-01-05T01:43:19.242-08:002015-01-05T01:43:19.242-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Texascomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09010930342036623294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3507322908225572079.post-1814341698801786702012-04-04T05:58:06.197-07:002012-04-04T05:58:06.197-07:00Very nice tutorial! I was wondering if I could use and old two-man saw blade i got laying around, but that's all rusty and stuff.. I don't know if it is all corroded and i just wanted to ask wouldn't it be risky to use that, or is there any way I could make sure its good, like sand it shiny and see how thick it is... Thanks and again, nice lessons, i really like the crossbow stuff!GameMarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04173044403444077924noreply@blogger.com
